New Tank Masonry Work at Beedichampa Village – A Community Effort
On 27th April 2025, an important milestone was achieved in Beedichampa village with the start of masonry work for a new tank. The project marks a wonderful example of community participation and teamwork.
Around 15 to 20 villagers volunteered their labour to support this important initiative. Their collective spirit and dedication played a vital role in pushing the work forward.
The site supervision was skillfully handled by Subhadra Garu, who not only oversaw the technical aspects but also inspired and motivated the villagers and the larger community. Her leadership helped ensure the smooth progress of the work.
The tank’s base was constructed using mate concrete, measuring 16 feet in length and 9 feet in width. The structure is being completed with RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) work, using M20 grade concrete mixed in the ratio of 1:1.5:3 (cement:sand:coarse aggregates), ensuring strong and durable construction.
To maintain the quality of the work, two experienced and skilled masons were engaged. Their expertise and careful workmanship have been instrumental in building a sturdy and reliable tank for the village.
