Awareness and Water Quality Activities Conducted in Kodaputtu, Kenduguda, and Mauliputtu Villages
On 07-05-2025. Mr. Trinadh and Ms. J. Kumari visited three tribal villages — Kodaputtu, Kenduguda, and Mauliputtu — as part of the ongoing community engagement and water sanitation initiative.
During their visit, they held interactive sessions with the Village Water and Sanitation Committee (VWSC) members and the local villagers. In each village, five informative charts related to water, sanitation, and hygiene practices were displayed on the walls. These charts were explained to the villagers in a participatory manner to ensure better understanding and awareness.
As part of the awareness drive, the team also introduced and read out the Five Panchasutras — key principles that promote safe water handling, cleanliness, and responsible community practices.
Further, record updating was carried out to ensure that all recent data is documented properly. A significant part of the activity included conducting water quality tests covering seven parameters in each village. The results were carefully recorded in the village registers for future reference and monitoring.
This initiative is a step forward in building stronger community involvement in water governance and improving the overall health and hygiene standards of the villages.
