VJNNS-INFOSYS-GFWSS: Filter Media Installation at Nimmaveedhi Village on 02-05-2025
On May 2nd, 2025, under the VJNNS-INFOSYS-GFWSS program, filter media installation work was successfully completed at the water storage tank in Nimmaveedhi village.
The tank has three rooms designed for water filtration and storage. Out of these, two rooms are fully filled with filter media. These rooms filter the water before it flows into the third room, which is used for clean water storage.
After filtration, the clean and safe water from the third room is distributed to the village through street taps. Villagers now have access to high-quality, filtered drinking water.
This initiative marks a major step toward providing safe and healthy water to all households in Nimmaveedhi village.
